Lathered Cleaning Co.

Meghan and I both started our as working mom’s with little ones that had too much to do and not a lot of time to do it. Late for school plays and chipping our teeth trying to get the plastic wrapper off of our bake sale goods. We knew there had to be a better way.

Our game – We sympathized with other working mothers and knew that we could help without breaking the bank and so, Lathered began!

Our tools – Within a short week of using grocery store cleaners we had pinterest open and furniture upside down trying to find cleaning products that could kill bacteria and not kill our skin and lungs. We found it! Now we have 9 kits all armed with the best all purpose cleaner money can’t buy with the essence of essential oils wherever we go!

Our Players – Starting off with a ton of travel and a little elbow grease our clientele grew! I remember being so excited when we had three cleans in one day and thinking “How on earth are we going to keep this up?” That very same day we had an applicant! We are now 26 people strong and forever building. We have been so blessed with such supportive staff, clients, friends and family along the way and truly couldn’t do it without each other. The last three years have been a bit of a blur and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

I Know A Guy Renovations

I joined my husband, Jesse, to start IKAG because I desperately wanted to stay home with my kids. It was a decision that was purely instinctual. My need to stay home was irrational and ignorant of the facts. I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced something like that in your life…willing to make any sacrifice.
When I saw an opportunity to build something unique and suited to the family life I wanted, I dove in and committed wholeheartedly.

Almost eight years later I Know A Guy is a powerful renovations company that is truly people-focused and supports our family (Christy, Jesse and our 3 children) to live a life we love. Our success is the result of many failures and setbacks, and a powerful desire to earn the freedom to live life on our terms.

I Know a Guy Renovations believes in family, it’s the reason we’re here. So when we are working in someone’s home, ensuring their family is safe and secure is important to us. Knowing they can trust us to always do the right thing for their home and family, it’s important.

Our homes are an extension of who we are as a family, our life and love are woven into the home. We use our homes to express who we are and tell our families story.
